Regular bus services run from York Railway Station and York city centre (£1.50 single/£2 return) to the Heslington West Campus, where the conference will be held. The no. 66 bus departs from both York Railway Station and various locations in the city centre and stop at four (4) locations across both campuses of the University of York. Alight at the J.B. Finding the Norwegian Study Centre
The Norwegian Study Centre, located in Quantum House, is a short walk from the central bus stop outside the J.B. Morrell Library. Once you have alighted at the J.B. Morrell stop coming from the city centre (which will be on the left side of the street), stay on the footpath and head the same direction as traffic on the left-hand side. After about 5 m you will arrive at a roundabout (traffic circle). Head left at this circle onto 'Innovation Way', following the signs for 'Science Park'. |
Finding Eden's Court
For those staying in the accommodation at Eden's Court (YO10 5EP), it is about a 13-minute walk to the main conference venue at the Norwegian Study Centre (in Quantum House, YO10 5BR). The closest bus stop for Eden's Court (as well as Derwent College Reception, where you need to check in) when traveling from the city centre is the first stop after the J.B. Morrell library: Heslington Hall. See Eden's Court on the Interactive Map: www.york.ac.uk/map/#edens-court
